ABOUT

Hi, I'm Chelsey.

I believe grief deserves to be witnessed slowly, without judgment, and without a timeline. My work is rooted in presence, gentle curiosity, and the deep belief that healing happens differently for everyone.

MY STORY

A little about how I came to this work

Hi, I’m Chelsey.

I’m a graduate of the University of Guelph with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and an ICF Certified Grief Coach, having completed my certification through the Dora Carpenter Grief Coach Professional Certification Program.

My passion for grief coaching comes from both my education and my own lived experience. Like many people, I’ve learned that grief extends far beyond the loss of a loved one. I’ve experienced the heartbreak of losing a family member, but I’ve also grieved the loss of my own identity, the life I thought I would have, and the person I once was.

After becoming a mother, I found myself navigating one of the most transformative seasons of my life while also finding the strength to leave a toxic and abusive relationship. It was a journey that required me to rebuild from the ground up, rediscover who I was, and learn that healing isn’t about “getting over” what we’ve lost—it’s about learning how to carry our experiences while continuing to grow.

These experiences have shaped not only who I am but also how I support others. I take a trauma-informed, compassionate, and client-centered approach to grief coaching, recognizing that every person’s story is unique. Whether you’re grieving the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, a major life transition, the loss of your identity, or another form of grief that often goes unseen, my goal is to provide a safe space where you feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment.

While my professional training provides a strong foundation, I believe some of the greatest lessons come from walking through life’s hardest seasons ourselves. My role isn’t to tell you how to grieve—it’s to walk alongside you as you discover your own path toward healing, hope, and resilience.

When I’m not coaching, you’ll usually find me growing flowers on my flower farm, spending time outdoors with my son and our dog, or exploring my interests in astrology, spirituality, and personal growth. These passions remind me daily of the beauty that can exist alongside grief and the importance of finding meaning, connection, and joy, even after life’s most difficult chapters.

Thank you for being here. It would be an honour to walk alongside you as you navigate your own journey toward healing.
